Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo, S.E., M.Sc., Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) and the program he initiated, namely Sambatan Jogja (SONJO) won two proud awards. At UGM’s 73rd Anniversary, Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo won the Universitas Gadjah Mada Award (UGM Award). Meanwhile, in the 2022 Mental Revolution Award, Sambatan Jogja (SONJO) was selected as one of the recipients of the 2022 Mental Revolution Award.
In the Summit Open Meeting for the 73rd UGM Anniversary (19/12), UGM Chancellor, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D. expects that “UGM as a leading university in the country continues to be required to contribute in responding to various contemporary socio-political economic dynamics and challenges that occur at the global, regional, national and local levels.” In line with this hope, in this commemoration event, Dr. Rimawan Pradiptyo together with Ir. Agus Priyatno, IPU received the UGM Award for appreciation of multidisciplinary achievement and impact. Rimawan received the UGM Award for his contribution to community empowerment through SONJO.
Also in December, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) together with the Program Coordinators of the National Movement for Mental Revolution (GNRM) held the 2022 Mental Revolution Award. This award is based on appreciation, appreciation and respect for initiatives and concrete actions to all GNRM change agents. In this Award, SONJO was selected as one of the recipients in the category of Social Institutions and Community Empowerment. Congratulations to Rimawan Pradiptyo and SONJO for winning the Mental Revolution Award and the UGM Award, Hopefully will always excel and inspire.
