The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) made proud achievements at the national level. National Student Science Week (PIMNAS) is the culminating activity of the implementation of the Student Creativity Program (PKM), a scientific activity competition organized by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENDIKBUD-RISTEK). The 36th PIMNAS was held at Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) from Monday (27/11) to Thursday (30/11). PIMNAS was held in order to increase creativity and develop student science and technology through intellectual work. PKM and PIMNAS are aligned with all SDGs because the innovations of each contingent vary greatly, but the overall alignment of PIMNAS primarily covers goals 4, Quality Education and 9, Industry, Innovation, & Infrastructure.
The 36th PIMNAS was attended by 525 PKM groups from 106 universities in Indonesia. PKM is certainly a high-impact program that is in line with all SDGs, especially goals 4 and 9. At the 36th PIMNAS, UGM succeeded in becoming the overall champion, and of course FEB UGM also contributed to 4 PKM branches and was part of 7 teams as follows:

Zaid said that UGM and FEB really prepared and supported PKM and PIMNAS accommodation. The support provided really helps them in preparing for PIMNAS. He also noted that "PIMNAS has had a very positive and beneficial impact on me because from PIMNAS we are trained in various soft skills such as report making, public speaking, and time management, which are very useful in the world of college and the world of work." "Thank you very much for all the experience provided by PIMNAS and assistance from UGM, UGM Creativity Sub-Directorate, Ditmawa, and FEB, who always help and provide support for us, the 36th PIMNAS contingent at UNPAD. UGM Rises, UGM Can Do It, UGM is Champion!!” concluded Zaid.
Not only Zaid, Salsa, who is also a finalist at the 36th PIMNAS, also gave positive testimonials for his participation. She said that what led him to the final was that he and his team learned to trust the process, be consistent, apply the knowledge learned at FEB UGM, especially entrepreneurship, appreciate criticism for improvement, and trust God's good plan. She advised FEB students who are interested in registering for PKM next year to be bold and try to take advantage of the privilege of studying at FEB. She added, "Apart from that, I think PKM is the same as an organization or event because you learn to manage your time and work together with other people to achieve a goal. the same purpose." concluded Salsa.
We congratulate all FEB UGM students and the team who won the PKM. Hopefully, they will continue to inspire and reap benefits from the PKM results. We would also like to thank the FEB UGM students fighting for PKM 2023. Don't be discouraged, and hopefully, you will continue to reap the benefits.
