The 23rd ATV

Saturday (9/3), students of the Bachelor in Accounting Studies Program – Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) succeeded in achieving brilliant achievements at the 23rd ATV event organized by the Accountant Professionalism Study, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (SPA FEB UI ). Various teams from FEB UGM showed their best abilities in the competition with the theme “Auditors As Futurists: Key Roles in Generating Businesses’ Resilience Against Risks”. The competition lasts three months and consists of preliminary rounds, semifinals, and grand finals.

The 23rd ATV is the largest and oldest competition for audit skills in the country, attended by Diploma IV (D4) and Bachelor’s Degree (S1) Accounting students from all Economic Faculties in Indonesia to test their knowledge and skills in auditing. This competition has been held for 23 years and is divided into various categories, including the Audit Competition category. This year, FEB UGM made a brilliant achievement by qualifying more than fifty per cent of its team for the final round. This achievement was a historic moment for FEB UGM in participating in The 23rd ATV. FEB UGM sent three of its best teams to compete in this category, namely:

  • AW Team: Evan Timothy Hotan Togatorop (Accounting, 2021), Marcheline Natasya Santoso (Accounting, 2021), Tsaniya Nur Afifah (Accounting, 2021)
  • M.Sc Team: Nicholas Malvin Saputra (Accounting, 2021), Ulinnuha Corinna Azmi (Accounting, 2021), Sylvia Magdalena (Accounting, 2021)
  • Materialiteam: Aditya Kurniawan (Accounting, 2021), Achmad Zidan Muzaki (Accounting, 2021), Philip Jakobus Sidabukke (Accounting, 2021)

Moving on to the Audit Case Challenge category, participants were challenged to exchange their insights, opinions and points of view regarding current audit issues. The main focus in this category is the big question of internal control and management facility control deficiencies. FEB UGM sent four of its best teams to compete in this category, namely:

  • FLY: Florence Joyer Situmorang (Accounting, 2021), Leony Gracea (Accounting, 2021), Yumna Nabila Adi (Accounting, 2021)
  • Side Job: Ferdiawan Hadi Susanto (Accounting, 2021), Giacinta Betralda Anin Pradita (Accounting, 2021), Hans Mangatur Pakpahan (Accounting, 2021)
  • Teambirco: Alicia Monalisa (Accounting, 2021), Alya Aqilah (Accounting, 2021), Kelysha Leoda Ngatasha (Accounting, 2021)
  • Pogung: Naura Tazkiah Ardeny (Accounting, 2021), Wandana Karuna Pradopo (Accounting, 2021), Ismail Arif Wicaksono (Accounting, 2021)

FEB UGM showed dominance in The 23rd ATV by winning the top two prizes in the Audit Competition category and all the champion positions in the Audit Case Challenge category. In the Audit Competition category, Materialiteam won first place and was followed by AW Team in second place with an equally impressive performance. It does not stop there; in the Audit Case Challenge category, FLY showed its best performance and came out in first place, Teambirco took second place with a brilliant performance, and Side Job got third place with satisfactory results.

The students’ success above must be connected to the full support of the Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU) FEB UGM. This support is realized in the form of mentoring from expert audit lecturers, such as Dewi Fatmawati, S.W., M.Ec., Ph.D. and Rijadh Djatu Winardi, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., CFE., as well as public speaking training from Dr. Okkie Putirani. Through the mentoring and training provided, FEB UGM students receive essential academic and non-academic training to compete in competitions.

The extraordinary achievements of FEB UGM students at The 23rd ATV are evidence of their dedication and hard work in honing their audit skills. Full support from the Faculty has proven to be the primary key to leading students to success. This achievement can inspire other FEB UGM students to continue working and make the alma mater proud nationally and internationally. FEB UGM extends its congratulations to the brilliant achievements of the students at the 23rd ATV event!
