AACSB Week: Call for Essays, Call for Videos, and Call for Slogan

FEB UGM is one of the prestigious school of business and economics in the South East Asia.  During the last 5 years, FEB UGM has been in the accreditation process of The Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB). AACSB is the most prestigious  accreditation for school of business in the world. FEB UGM is in the final step of the process: Peer-Reviewed Team (PRT) final visit. FEB UGM hopes to get the accreditation in the year 2014.

Stakeholders of the FEB UGM need to be aware of and familiar with the accreditation. FEB UGM needs to develop systems to accomodate the development of the School. It is not the AACSB itself is the most important, but the development of the School to improve the learning process of the students.

To increase the awareness of the AACSB, FEB UGM plans to hold the AACSB Week (September 9-13, 2013). As one of the activity of the AACSB Week, FEB UGM opens call for essays, call for video, and call for slogan.

Call for Essays

  1. Theme: Why AACSB matters and Why should FEB UGM push for AACSB?
  2. 1,600-2,000 words (English language)
  3. Font: Times new Romans 12, one and half space
  4. 2 copies to KJM Office (cp. Intarini Swandari and Stevie Renci Souhuwat) and electronic copy to: aacsbfebugm@gmail.com
  5. Open to all students, alumni, and employees of FEB UGM
  6. Due date: September 9, 2013
  7. Prize: 
    1. First winner: Rp1,500,000 (one and half million Rupiahs)
    2. Second winner: Rp1,000,000 (one million Rupiahs)
    3. Third winner: Rp500,000 (five hundred thousand Rupiahs)

Call for Videos

  1. Theme: advertising about FEB UGM (in relation to AACSB accreditation)
  2. Video duration: 30-60 seconds (English language)
  3. Video format: MPEG
  4. Criteria: creative, informative, ethical, and original ideas
  5. One copy of CD/flashdisk sent to KJM Office (cp. Intarini Swandari and Stevie Renci Souhuwat) and electronic copy to: aacsbfebugm@gmail.com
  6. Open to all students, alumni, and employees of FEB UGM
  7. Due date: September 9, 2013
  8. Prize: 
    1. First winner: Rp2,000,000 (two million Rupiahs)
    2. Second winner: Rp1,500,000 (one and half million Rupiahs)

Call for Slogan

  1. Theme: FEB UGM and AACSB
  2. Maximum 10 words (English language)
  3. Criteria: creative, attractive, memorable, and original ideas
  4. Electronic copy to: aacsbfebugm@gmail.com
  5. Open to all students, alumni, and employees of FEB UGM
  6. Due date: September 9, 2013
  7. Prize: 
    1. Winner: Rp1,000,000 (one million Rupiahs)
