The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), organized a self-development activity in the form of recreation for professional staff at the Faculty Administration Office (KAF) FEB UGM. This activity aimed to refresh participants from their daily work routines while strengthening togetherness, teamwork, and harmony in the workplace.
One hundred professional staff members of KAF FEB UGM attended the program, divided into two groups that met on September 27–29, 2025, and August 30–31, 2025. The staff participated in a tour to Tawangmangu, which included an exciting adventure jeep ride. In addition, they visited the Atsiri Park.
Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni of FEB UGM, stated that the recreation would refresh the spirits of the professional staff amid their daily work routines.
“Hopefully, this recreation can recharge the energy of all professional staff. We expect that after this program, everyone will return to work with renewed enthusiasm and stronger teamwork,” Gumilang explained on Friday (26/09/2025) while flagging off the second batch of the recreation at FEB UGM.
The warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout the program reflected the spirit of harmony that FEB UGM continues to uphold. Bomantoro, a professional staff member from the Admission, Partnership, and Alumni Unit of FEB UGM, expressed his excitement in joining this engaging self-development program, especially during the adrenaline-pumping jeep adventure.
Meanwhile, Anisa Yuliandri, a professional staff member from the CSDU unit of FEB UGM, said that she genuinely enjoyed the recreational activity, which provided a refreshing break amidst the busy schedule of the 70th FEB UGM Anniversary celebrations.
“Through this recreation, we had the chance to interact and get to know colleagues from other units whom we rarely meet or directly work with,” she shared.
