In 2026, something new is happening at FEB UGM. Busy academic schedules often make students forget to maintain their daily nutrition and energy levels. Fortunately, there are now three innovative cafés on campus that can be the solution: Sector Seven, Blumee, and CHO. These three cafés offer a variety of drinks and snacks that are practical, healthy, and environmentally friendly.
These cafés were born from student creativity through the 2026 Student Business Management Grant Program. This program serves as a platform for students to sharpen their entrepreneurial skills, including marketing, operations management, and sustainable business practices.
The Vice Dean of FEB UGM for Research, Community Service, Cooperation, and Alumni, Gumilang Aryo Sahadewo, stated that through the Kedai EB FEB UGM Program, FEB UGM provides students with opportunities to practice business using the knowledge they have gained during their studies. In addition, the program allows students to develop soft skills such as leadership, adaptability, teamwork, and communication.
“We invite the FEB UGM academic community to visit Sector Seven, Blumee, and CHO, and try their innovative products,” he said.
With comfortable atmospheres and varied menus, each café brings its own unique concept. Curious which drink or snack suits your daily campus routine? Let us get to know them better!
Sector Seven: Eco-Friendly Grab-and-Go Café
For students who need practical drinks during a busy class schedule, Sector Seven is a great choice. This café, located at the CIMB Digital Lounge FEB UGM, offers two student favorites: coffee and matcha.
Sector Seven was initiated by Claresta Zuhrah Aulia (Management 2023), Devon Otniel Del Frey (Management 2023), Siti Intan Nurasiyah (Management 2023), Salsabilla Syafa Kamila (Management 2023), and Dafa Hentra Anjana (Management 2023). The café offers various menu options to accompany study sessions, ranging from americano, latte, and matcha latte to iced matcha and pastries.
One of their innovations is ready-to-drink products packaged in recycled carton-based materials made from processed used goods, reflecting their commitment to environmentally friendly business practices. This concept makes Sector Seven not only relevant to student lifestyles but also aligned with sustainability efforts.
Blumee: Healthy Treats Amid Campus Activities
If you are looking for something refreshing and healthy, Blumee is located in the Lobby of Pertamina Tower FEB UGM and offers a variety of fruit-based menus. From fruit smoothies, fruit blends, fruit salads, popsicles, to sandwiches — everything is designed to be practical and nutritious.
Every Blumee product has been validated by nutrition experts from FKKMK UGM, ensuring that calorie, sugar, and nutritional content are correctly measured. Fruit-based products rich in antioxidants make Blumee an excellent alternative for students who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle despite their busy campus schedules.
Blumee was developed by Yulianti Nurhasanah (Management 2023), Shalom Emmanuel Levy Atie (Management 2022), Adinda Salsabila (Management 2023), Meissya Lathifa Haq Pranoto (Management 2023), and Raiyana Fathi Ansori (Management 2023), bringing a ready-to-go healthy lifestyle concept to the campus.
CHO: Practical and Delicious Local Chocolate Drinks
For chocolate lovers, CHO offers chocolate drinks made from local cocoa with various menu options. Located at Kantin Biru FEB UGM, the café provides a range of options, from classic variants to signature chocolate series, which can be enjoyed with toppings such as marshmallow, salted caramel, meringue, and sea salt cream.
CHO was developed by Nirwan Sulaiman Fariz (Management 2023), Santa Lusia Rosa Caeli (Accounting 2023), Muhammad Vicko Alghozali Syahrial (Management 2023), Devinta Sekar Kinasih (Management 2023), and Ivan Alfredo Hutagalung (Management 2023). The business started from the team’s interest in processing local cocoa into practical chocolate drinks with distinctive flavors.
In its operations, CHO also prioritizes paper cups without plastic straws and wooden eating utensils to support sustainable business practices on campus. The combination of smooth chocolate taste and distinctive cocoa aroma makes CHO drinks not only delicious but also comforting to enjoy between busy campus activities.
