To celebrate the 55th anniversary of FEB UGM, students held an event bringing the concept of and for students “Student Week 2010.” The event is officially opened by the Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Marwan Asri, MBA., Ph.D on September 20, 2010 and is marked with releasing the balloons and cutting the cake.
The agenda of Student Week includes Research Exhibition (September,20, 2010), Entrepreneurship Bazaar (September 20-21, 2010), Photo Exhibition (September 20-25, 2010) and students’ performances of each Study Program Club. In the Entrepreneurship bazaars, the stand booths are filled by students selling food and beverages, clothing, and knick-knacks. The more interesting is the international students from Germany, the Netherlands and Finland who are taking Exchange and Double Degree Program at FEB UGM also liven up the event by providing special cuisine of their respective countries: Potato salad, meat balls and ginger cookies. Talk show of “Research and Entrepreneurship” is also organized by inviting Saptuari Sugiharto (Kedai Digital owner), Dwi Kartika Sari (Goeboek Coffee Seturan owner) and Firmansyah Budi Prasetyo (Cokro Tela Cake owner).
