FEB UGM Open Campus 2024 di Jakarta

The Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) organized the Open Campus 2024 event on October 17-19, 2024 at the MM FEB UGM Jakarta Building.

This event is an opportunity for prospective students and the general public to learn more about the study programs offered by FEB UGM, varying from undergraduate (S1) to master’s (S2) to doctoral (S3).

Through this Open Campus event, participants can obtain complete information about the study programs, the academic system, and the career prospects at each level of education. In addition, Open Campus 2024 will feature exchange sessions and a mini-expo, providing a clearer picture of academic life at FEB UGM.

FEB UGM’s Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Bayu Sutikno, S.E., M.S.M., Ph.D., in his opening remarks at the Open Campus 2024 event, introduced the study programs at FEB UGM, from undergraduate to postgraduate levels.

“If you are interested in studying at FEB UGM, we have 14 study programs at S1, S2, and S3 levels,” he explained on Thursday (18/10).

The fourteen programs include three undergraduate programs: Accounting, Management, and Economics. At the master’s level, the programs offered are Master of Science in Accounting, Master of Science in Economics, Master of Science in Management, Master in Accounting, Master in Management (MBA Program), and Master in Development Economics.

At the doctoral level, FEB UGM offers a Doctorate in Accounting, a Doctorate in Economics, and a Doctorate in Management. FEB UGM also has a professional program, the Accounting Profession Program (PPAk).

On this occasion, Bayu also explained the admission paths to UGM, including FEB UGM, and the selectivity of FEB UGM’s undergraduate programs. He mentioned that FEB UGM admits around 500 students through the regular undergraduate program and 150 students through the international undergraduate program (IUP) each year.

Open Campus 2024 FEB UGM received a positive response from the public. Three hundred and seventy-four high school/vocational school students from Jakarta and surrounding areas attended the event.

One of the participants, Naufal J.P. from SMAN 20 Jakarta, expressed his enthusiasm about the Open Campus event. Through this event, Naufal and his friends received much information about FEB UGM, including admissions, study programs, scholarships, and global partnerships.

“This is the first time I have attended an Open Campus event. UGM is one of the universities I want to attend, and FEB UGM is my dream faculty. This event was very informative, and I gained a lot of information here,” he said.

Meanwhile, Akbar Syahreza Putra, a teacher at IT Ummul Quro High School, Bogor, also appreciated the organization of the Open Campus FEB UGM event. According to him, this event provided important information needed by high school students and prospective university students.

“A lot of useful information can be obtained through this event. We also hope that more IT Ummul Quro High School students will be accepted to study at FEB UGM in the future,” Akbar said.
