UGM Master of Sustainability Development (MASUDEM) team held a pre-management meeting on Tuesday, 6 June 2023, at the Master of Management meeting room, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The meeting was attended by the Head of the Management Department FEB UGM, Prof. Nurul Indarti, Sivilokonom., Cand.Merc., Ph.D.; the Head of the FEB UGM Master of Management Study Program, Prof. Amin Wibowo, M.B.A., Ph.D.; the Head of the FEB UGM Management Laboratory, Sari Sitalaksmi, Ph.D.; the Secretary of the FEB UGM Master of Management Study Program Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D., and supporting staff dedicated to MASUDEM.

As a member of the Master of Sustainable Development (MASUDEM) consortium, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada played an essential role as a mapping study coordinator whose task was to coordinate the mapping of Master of Business Administration study programs in the ASEAN countries. The mapping study was included in the preparation stage of Work Package 1 (WP1), which aimed to conduct an in-depth assessment of the needs of partner universities and partner institutions. Subsequently, partner universities were encouraged to design curricula and determine the method for the MASUDEM concentration at their universities that fit their needs.

The Master in Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM), again held an Executive Series event with the theme "Leadership in Finance" on Friday, May 26, 2023. The event was held at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium MM FEB UGM and broadcast directly through the Youtube channel "MMUGM". This time, the source for the Executive Series is Batara Sianturi, CEO of Citi Bank Indonesia. The event began with remarks from the Head of the MM FEB UGM Study Program, Prof. Amin Wibowo, Ph.D.. Then it continued with the presentation of the resource person in the materials session.

Friday (26/5), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Career Presentation to introduce ADB to students who are interested in having a career at ADB as well as introduce the profile and focus of ADB's scope of operations. The Career Presentation presented Said Zaidansyah as Deputy Country Director of Indonesia Resident Mission ADB, Pierre Dyens as Principal Human Resource Specialist, and Geraldine de Asis as Associate Human Resource Officer. This event was held on the 8th floor of the FEB UGM Learning Center. This career preparation was carried out openly and was attended by UGM students.

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM, in collaboration with KarirLab, is holding two Mandatory Soft Skills activities in May 2023. These activities are mandatory for all FEB UGM students batch 2022 from the Regular and International Undergraduate Program (IUP). On May 6 2023, the Mandatory Soft Skill activity, the fifth theme, is "Grow Your Public Speaking with Confidence". This activity occurred in the 8th Floor Auditorium Room of the LC Building (Learning Center) FEB UGM. The implementation is divided into two sessions, namely 09.00 - 11.00 WIB for Regular students and 13.00 - 15.00 WIB for IUP students.

In accordance with Indonesia's economic improvement endeavor, especially regarding the digitization of public services, on Thursday (7/7), iWeek held a lecture related to the Kartu Prakerja (Kartu Prakerja) case study. This lecture invited Denni Puspa Purbasari, Ph.D as the Executive Director of the Kartu Prakerja Program. Denni started the lecture by explaining the purpose of this class, which is to provide an understanding of problem-solution fit, and public policy 101 to students participating in iWeek. Denni continued with an explanation about the problems of unemployment, including the supply and demand sides, frictional and structural unemployment, Not engaged in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) and unrealized demographic bonuses, education and wages, view of training as a luxury, asymmetric information, and labor which is the only factor of production for the poor.
