Three UGM students, consisting of Made Lanang Ray Widyatmika (Accounting 2015), Fernandi Army (Economics 2015), and Natasha Christanti (English-SV 2016), in the Equilibrium team won the first place in the national scientific writing competition in ‘Pekan Raya Ekonomi 2018’ held by Economics student association (HMJIE) Faculty of Economics adn Business Universitas Jember (UNEJ).

National Economic Issues Debating Competition or DIEN is a national event which is held annually by UKMF of Research Kristal, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University (UNY).
A team of undergraduate students from the Accounting Department of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won the first place in the MAKSI Accounting Competition (MACC) 2018 which was held on September 28, 2018.

The team of undergraduate students from the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM consisting of Graini Annisa (Accounting 2016) and Maura Finessa Winayo (Accounting 2016) won First Winner in the Accounting Paper Competition (APC) Diponegoro Accounting’s Harmony (DASH) that was held on 28-29 September 2018 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro (FEB UNDIP).
Two student team from Undergraduate Program Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won 2nd Winner and 3rd winner in Scientific Writing Competition – Diponegoro Financial National Competition (DEFINE) 2018. This competition were held on September 19-22, 2018 at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang.
Achievements continue to be accomplished by Universitas Gadjah Mada students. This time undergraduate students of Faculty of Economics and Business UGM made achievements at the ASEAN Youth Conference (AYC) 2018 which took place on September 22nd to 23rd 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Aceh Rampoe traditional dance community of Universitas Gadjah Mada (Rampoe UGM), one of its member is Fairuz Hasna Oktriany (Economics 2016), had won a gold medal in Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival 2018 in South Korea.
The ‘Navy Rangers’ team consisting of students from Universitas Gadjah Mada, University of Melbourne, and Melbourne CIC Higher Education won third place in the Australia-ASEAN Youth Summit (AAYS) Case Competition 2018 held by ASEAN Youth Organization of Australia (AYO Australia).
