The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held the 2025 Family Fun Day as part of the events commemorating the 70th Anniversary and the 14th Lustrum of FEB UGM. The event, which took place on Sunday (14/9) at Plaza FEB UGM, was attended by the entire FEB UGM academic community, including lecturers, professional staff, their families, and student representatives.
Dean of FEB UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., in his remarks, expressed his gratitude for the successful organization of Family Fun Day 2025, which became a moment of togetherness for the FEB UGM family. He emphasized that the strength of FEB UGM lies not only in classrooms, research, and publications, but also in the solidarity of its community that remains strong.
“This FFD 2025 is about togetherness and kinship to strengthen our unity,” he said.
The event opened with morning exercise and group dancing. It was further enlivened with various activities such as relay games, a music quiz titled “Berpacu dalam Melodi”, and entertaining performances from ESB Band, Angklung Dharma Wanita, FEB Voice, as well as the announcement of competition winners, including the FEB UGM Public Relations Award 2025.
Among the competitions, the Best Photo Competition was won by Hejin Zulvy Izzabilla (MBA UGM Alumni 2022) and Muhammad Naufal Hafizh (Accounting 2024). In the FEB UGM Public Relations Award 2025, the Best Instagram Management category for Study Programs and Work Units was awarded respectively to: 1) Master of Management UGM Yogyakarta Campus, 2) Master and Doctoral Programs FEB UGM, and 3) Master of Development Economics FEB UGM. In the same award under the Research Center subcategory, the first and second place were given to the Center for Information Systems Studies (PKSI), FEB UGM, and the Leadership Studies Division, FEB UGM.
For the Best Press Release category, the winners were: 1) Master of Management UGM Yogyakarta Campus, 2) Research and Development for Societal Impact (RDSI), and 3) Master of Development Economics (MEP) FEB UGM.
Meanwhile, for the Best Website Management category, the first to third place were awarded to: 1) Master of Management UGM Yogyakarta Campus, 2) Master of Development Economics (MEP) FEB UGM, and 3) Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU).
The event peaked with the distribution of 175 door prizes and a grand prize of an electric motorcycle prepared by the committee and sponsors. The grand prize was won by Mr. Khairudin, a professional staff member of the Master’s and Doctoral Programs of FEB UGM. On that occasion, Khairudin expressed his gratitude and happiness.
“I am delighted and proud to be part of this event. My most memorable moments were the grand prize announcement and the awarding session. I really appreciate the committee’s hard work that made this FFD successful and enjoyable,” he said.
Positive impressions were also shared by Rafida Salma Rahmawati, a professional staff member of the Faculty Administration Office, after participating in the series of Family Fun Day 2025 activities. She said the event was successful and had many exciting programs.
“The event was fun and festive, with many bonding activities such as fun games and communal meals. The most memorable moment was when Dharma Wanita Persatuan performed an angklung ensemble, creating an atmosphere where everyone present joined in the joy, even dancing together. I hope this event will continue to be consistently festive and enjoyable,” she said.
With its warm and cheerful atmosphere, Family Fun Day 2025 became a forum of togetherness that strengthened the ties among the entire FEB UGM academic community. This activity also reaffirmed the spirit of unity in celebrating 70 years of FEB UGM’s journey.
