FEB UGM Hosts Sharing Session to Present Career Opportunities at Paragon

Faculty of Economics and Business UGM held a sharing session with Paragon Corp. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Learning Center Building, 8th floor, FEB UGM. This event, initiated by the Management Student Association (IKAMMA) in collaboration with the Career and Student Development Unit (CSDU), connected students and recent graduates with a range of career opportunities and broadened their understanding of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, particularly at Paragon.
The event, Paragon Day Special Universitas Gadjah Mada: Unlock Leadership - Build, Innovate, Lead, was opened with a speech by CSDU Head, Arizona Mustika Rini, Ph.D. She expressed that the exchange session with Paragon was expected to provide students and recent graduates with new insights and knowledge about career opportunities at Paragon.
During the session, Kevin Maulana Azhar, Paragon Corp's Customer Business Development Representative, explained his role in Customer Business Development. He described how working in this area requires a comprehensive understanding of sales performance and an in-depth strategy to grow the business in various distribution areas to ensure that Paragon's products are closer to the consumer. In addition, Budiastuti Waluya S., Paragon Corp's Finance Business Partner in Marketing & Product Innovation Development, shared insights into the role of finance in supporting strategic business decisions.
Next, Paragon Corp's HR Business Partner, Susana N. Kusumaningsih, emphasized that Paragon's recruitment process goes beyond academic background. They also value each individual's adaptability, analytical skills, and ability to meet the company's expectations. By prioritizing collaboration, innovation, and mutual respect, Paragon Corp. opens doors for those ready to become change agents in the FMCG industry, especially in the beauty sector.
