Many people say that the world of college is a gateway to a future career. This is what makes some students worry about their lives after graduating from college. Coupled with the increase in the unemployment rate for undergraduates in Indonesia which also causes anxiety in some university students. To help with this problem, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM held an Alumni Sharing Session on Saturday (18/09) with the theme "Life after Graduation: Potential Career Path for FEB Students."

We have all been through the Covid-19 pandemic for more than a year and until now no one knows when it will end, the topic of the survival spirit of the pandemic fighters is relevant to be discussed and disseminated together. Faculty of Economics and Business UGM in commemoration of the 66th Dies Natalis together with the Central Management of the Alumni Family of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (KAFEGAMA) and also KAFEGAMA DIY held a Pandemic Insight Seminar with the theme "Survival Spirit of The Pandemic Fighters" on Saturday (11/09). It is hoped that from this seminar, participants can become even more enthusiastic about sharing, working together, and helping each other in this pandemic era.

Publishing papers in top-ranked journals is something that is quite important, especially at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM. As an institution accredited by international accreditation (AACSB), one of the contributions that FEB UGM needs to make is academic contributions through quality research and teaching. On this basis, the Public Sector Studies and Taxation Laboratory, Department of Accounting, FEB UGM, conducted an International Seminar with the topic “Publishing Papers in Top Journals: Insight from a Top Scholar for Early Career Researchers” on Friday (03/09). This seminar is also the event that begins the series of commemorations of this year's 66th FEB UGM Anniversary.

Academic writing and publication are now very crucial for academics. One of the factors of existence as an academician is shown by the extent to which research writings and publications have been carried out, and for that an academician needs to continue to study and learn. Therefore, the Publication Unit of the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a 2021 Publication Workshop. The 2021 Publication Workshop held on Wednesday (11/7/21) and Thursday (12/7/21) online via Zoom Meetings Platform. This event was moderated by Wahyu Saripudin, M.B.A., Lecturer of the Department of Management as well as PIC of the FEB UGM Publication Unit. On the first day the speaker of the Workshop was Gigih Fitrianto, Ph.D. ,Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Muhammad Ryan Sanjaya, Ph.D. as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, and Rocky Adiguna, Ph.D. namely Lecturer of the Department of Management. Meanwhile on the second day, the speaker was Fu'ad Rakhman, Ph.D. as a Lecturer in the Accounting Department, and Widya Paramita, Ph.D. who is a Lecturer in the Management Department.

The current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic should not hold back our intentions to earn more knowledge. Acknowledging this, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) holds the 7th International Week Summer Course (iWeek) 2021 which was officially opened on Monday (26/07). This event is an annual summer program with various benefits, one of which is lectures and discussions facilitated by internationally recognized competent speakers. This year, International Week will take place from 26-30 July 2021 and shift to an online program without diminishing its essence in order to guarantee access to online education for every student coming from all cities and countries.

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada in collaboration with the Indonesian Regional Science Association (IRSA) has successfully organized the 16th Indonesian Regional Science Association International Conference. The annual conference with the theme "Institutions, Human Capital, and Development" was held virtually via Zoom on 12-13 July 2021. After holding the agenda on the second day in the form of a book launching by Prof. Iwan Jaya Azis (Cornell University) and the 2nd plenary session by Prof. Sabina Alkire (Oxford University) and Dr. Asep Suryahadi (SMERU Research Institute), the series of conference events arrived at the final session, which is the closing seminar.
