Wednesday (8/3), Bank BNI inaugurated a Sub-Branch Office (KCP) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM). The inauguration was held at the Bhumi Cafe by Ecology x BNI by Ecology Cafe FEB UGM. The event starts at 09.00 WIB. The inauguration was carried out by pressing a button by the Main Director of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Royke Tumilaar, accompanied by UGM Chancellor Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D. and Dean of FEB UGM Prof. Dr., Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA. The event continued with a review of the BNI Digital Branch. Not to forget, the inauguration was also enlivened by a group photo session.

On Wednesday (08/03), the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), held the inauguration of Learning and Academic Multimedia Production (LAMP) located on the 5th floor of Learning Center FEB UGM. The inauguration was attended by the FEB UGM academic community, Vice Rector of UGM, to student representatives from BEM and HMJ. This LAMP studio was created to facilitate open courses and research, a platform that can be easily accessed by the general public, create promotional materials, and many other extraordinary innovations.

The economic impacts of the Corona Pandemic are felt by all parts of the world, including Germany and the European Union. This becomes a valuable lesson, not only for Germany and the European Union, but for all countries in the world who are trying to examine the impact of the corona outbreak on the national and international economy. Responding to this, on Thursday (30/7) international Week (iWeek) held a lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Dirk Wentzel, a lecturer at Pforzheim University. This lecture has the title “Economic Implications of the Corona Pandemic on Germany and the European Union (with a special focus on the sports and media sectors)”. As explained in the title Prof. Dirk, the discussion of the economic implications of the pandemic will also be narrowed down to the sports and entertainment media sectors.

Investment is currently an activity that the millennial generation likes to do. The reason is, investing can be done anywhere and provide benefits quickly. However, many young people still need help understanding how to support themselves correctly. Therefore, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), held a seminar on "Investing from a Practitioner's Point of View." This seminar was held on Friday (24/02) in the Learning Center Auditorium Building, 8th floor of FEB UGM. This seminar aims to provide students with a direct understanding of how to invest correctly from experts.

Today, facing the transition era towards post-Covid-19, businesses need to adapt by implementing digitalization. The topic related to this, titled as “Business Digitalization Post-Covid Era: The Role of Fintech” was discussed in a series of lectures as part of the virtual summer program held by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) on Wednesday (29/06), namely International Week (iWeek) 2022. On the day of the event, the lecture series presented an expert speaker on the topic, namely Hendri Saparini, Ph.D., as the Steering Committee of the Indonesian Fintech Society (IFSoc).
