This event marked the end of the graduates’ studies and served as a starting point for them to contribute to the professional world or pursue further studies.
In this graduation period, FEB UGM conferred degrees on 175 graduates, comprising 50 graduates from the Accounting Program, 52 graduates from the Economics Program, and 73 graduates from the Management Program.
Several graduates achieved remarkable accomplishments. The title of top graduate in the Accounting Program was awarded to Hanggi Ridha Bagas Nirbita with a GPA of 3.88. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UGM, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Ak., CA., expressed his appreciation for the graduates’ dedication and achievements. He urged the graduates always to uphold the good name of their alma mater wherever they work and to embody UGM’s values of inclusivity, humility, and exemplary conduct.
“The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others,” he said.
Didi added that success should not be measured solely by degrees, titles, or material possessions, but rather by the extent of the benefits one can provide to society and the nation.
On this occasion, Didi also noted that various parties support the continuity of education at the UGM Faculty of Economics and Business. During this period, 29 students received the KIP-K Scholarship and the Dikti Affirmative Action Scholarship for the 2026 Even Semester, while 4 students received the KAFEGAMA 89 Scholarship.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to the donors and partners for their commitment to supporting the nation’s youth in achieving their aspirations,” he added.
This graduation ceremony marks not only the end of their academic journey but also the beginning of a new one. In his remarks as a representative of the graduating class, Aushaaf Rafif Keane Pribadi noted that their time as FEB students was not just about what they learned in the classroom, but also about the people they met and the sense of community that has shaped who they are today.
“What we take home from FEB is not just a degree, but also knowledge, friendships, experiences, and stories that will continue to connect us wherever we go,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to parents, professors, and faculty members who, in his view, helped shape the graduates’ ways of thinking and perspectives throughout their studies.
“We are parting ways with FEB as students, but may we never lose sight of the values and lessons this place has imparted to us,” he said.
In addition, several graduates received international accolades during their studies.
