The presentation of superior research results from the Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) was held on Tuesday (29/12/20) through the Zoom platform which invited participants from various circles. This event was held in collaboration with the three laboratories at FEB UGM, namely: Accounting Laboratory, Management Laboratory, and Economics Laboratory. The presentation of the research results was divided into three sessions by presenting presenter representatives from each departmental laboratory.

A study using individual data of FEB UGM students by Putu Arya Wigita, SE, Academic Assistant of the Department of Economics, along with a team consisting of Putu Sanjika Wibisana and Muhammad Fawdy Renardi Wahyu. The research is entitled "Research Report: High School Major Selection and Academic Performance" which aims to examine whether or not there is a relationship between majors in high school and student academic performance.

On Saturday (12/6) the Studies Center for Information System, Studies Center for Accounting Education, and Accounting Laboratory, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM (FEB UGM) held a Webinar and Workshop with the theme of "Data Analytical Skills for Future Professional Accountants". The webinar that started the series of workshops was on the theme "Becoming a Relevant Accountant in the Digital Age - The Importance of Mastering Data Analytical Skills". The moderator who presented this seminar was Muhammad Akbar Fadzkurrahman Annahl, SE, M.Sc. the scope of accounting and information technology, namely Syaiful Ali, M.Sc., Ph.D, from the Studies Center for Information System, Accounting Department FEB UGM, Sony Warsono, MAFIS., Ph.D. from the Studies Center for Accounting Education, Accounting Department FEB UGM, Krisostomus Nova Rahmanto, S.Kom. from Sadasa Academy, and Nur'aini Yuwanita Wakan, S.E as Management Consultant from Accenture.

The 4th Management's Forum: Sharing webinar series entitled "Adapting ZMET to online context: Exploring the mental map of marginalized society during the pandemic" presented by the Management Laboratory of the Faculty of Economics and Business UGM was held on Friday (11/06). In this 4th series, two special speakers were present, namely B.M Purwanto, Ph.D. and also Rokhima Rostiani, M.Mgmt. who will share about using the ZMET method in an online context. ZMET itself is an acronym for the Zaltman Metaphor Elicitation Technique, which is a method for searching for truth in the subconscious by exploring the thought processes and behavior of participants.

On Tuesday (8/6), the Master of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Gadjah Mada (MAKSI FEB UGM) in collaboration with the Supreme Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) held a Public Lecture with the theme "Investigative Examination Methodology". Public lectures are held online through the Zoom Meetings platform. This event was moderated by Singgih Wijayana, M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM. The resource persons for this public lecture are Dr. Agus Joko Pramono, M.Acc., Ak., CA., CPA., CSFA., CFrA. As Deputy Chairperson of BPK RI, and Dr. Heri Subowo as Auditor of BPK RI.

The Accounting Laboratory, Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UGM together with the Master of Science and Doctoral Study Program (MD) FEB UGM held a Webinar Series with the theme "Philosophy and Approaches to Accounting and Business Research". The introduction and understanding of the philosophy and research approaches that are important for researchers in conducting research are the essence of the series. This Webinar series consists of 7 series of discussion sessions with 7 different topics in each session which has been carried out starting from April 9, 2021. On Friday (4/06) the last series of this Webinar Series was successfully held by bringing the topic of critical realism paradigms to discussion.
