From Monday (21/11) to Friday (25/11), the ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) held a Training of Trainers (ToT) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur. ANGEL's mission is to provide impact and transformation for two critical stakeholders from each partner institution in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The first target group is internal stakeholders, namely students, academic and non-academic staff, and top management. Meanwhile, ANGEL's second target group is disadvantaged groups in society which include women and minorities, groups with poor incomes in urban and rural communities, as well as persons with disabilities (PD).

An atmosphere of emotion and joy erupted again as graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) were declared graduates at the Graduation Program Period I Undergraduate and Diploma Academic Year 2022/2023, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. The graduation ceremony was held at Grha Sabha Pramana. The Graduation Ceremony began with the accompaniment of gamelan chants, the playing of the Indonesia Raya anthem, and UGM Marshals. The ceremony continued with the opening by the Chancellor of UGM, Prof. dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med., Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D and the symbolic removal of the toga strap. Then, the ceremony continued with the reading and awarding of diplomas to the graduates of each faculty.

Thursday (17/11) Saxion University visited the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) to hold a discussion on the double degree program, as well as teach a Basic Auditing Workshop and Guest Lecture on Intermediate Level about the Balanced Scorecard for International Undergraduate Program (IUP) students. This event was held on the 8th Floor of the FEB UGM Learning Center. Representatives attending from Saxion University included Dennis Vossen as Program Director International Finance & Accounting, Edwald Mentlink as Examination board of IFA, Jasja Bos as Senior Advisor Partnerships, and Tina Purwono as Saxion Representative.

In order to further introduce financial literacy and residential property funding to students and the general public, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM) together with PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) held a public lecture with the theme “Hard to Have a Home? Says who?” on Thursday (17/11). The public lecture was opened with opening speech by Ananta Wiyogo, as the Main Director of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero), and was filled in by two expert speakers, namely Dodok Dwi Handoko, as KND Study Staff of the Ministry of Finance, and Martin Daniel, as Chief Economist of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero).

Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in collaboration with The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) held an Information Session Forum titled as "Establishing Continuous Improvement Strategies for Business Schools in Indonesia" for two days on Wednesday (9 /11) and Thursday (10/11) at the Auditorium Room, Learning Center Building, FEB UGM. Present at the event were two people from AACSB International, namely, Geoff Perry (Executive Vice President, Global Chief Membership Officer and Managing Director, Asia Pacific) and Liyan Chen (Senior Accreditation and Member Services Manager).

In collaboration with the ANU Indonesia Project, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) is holding an annual public policy forum series titled Mubyarto Public Policy Forum with the theme "Is ignorance bliss? An experimental approach to estimating unregulated corruption” on Friday (4/11). This forum took place as a form of respect for Professor Mubyarto, a prominent economist at UGM, who was also one of the most influential Indonesian intellectuals on rural development issues in the 1960s and 1990s.
