On Friday (8/11), the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a public lecture on the adoption of PSAK 71.72, and 73 in the construction industry. Located in the Learning Center Auditorium of FEB UGM, the event took Ms. Inggir Elerida Lumban Taruan as Senior Vice President Accounting Division at PT Waskita Karya Persero Tbk as the speaker. This event is one of the responses to the discourse of the adoption of a new Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) which adopted the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on 1 January 2020.

Going Global 2019 is an annual event held by the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) which serves as a bridge among its students and parents, and university partners to engage and explore information regarding International Academic Exposures. Wednesday (23/10) the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Bankers Association (IBI) held a public lecture entitled "Leadership in the Midst of Global Uncertainties". Located in Learning Center Auditorium FEB UGM, this event is one part of the IBI Goes to Campus 2019. This public lecture presented by Haryanto T. Budiman, Ph.D as the Managing Director and Chief Executive of J.P. Morgan Indonesia and Chairman of the Indonesian Bankers Association as the main speaker.

Friday (18/10), PT. Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) cooperates with the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Mining Talk titled Natural Resource Management as an effort to build closeness with the public through education about the benefits of mining activities in a comprehensive manner. Indonesia is a country with very high mineral reserves. In nickel minerals, Indonesia ranks third in the global level. In addition, Indonesia recorded a contribution of 39% for gold products, ranked second after China. This makes Indonesia always in the top 10 in the world. With its enormous potential, the mining sector contributes in to non-tax state revenue (PNBP). In its application, mining companies refer to the principles of sustainability in the use of natural resources for the greatest prosperity of the people and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Thursday (10/17) Faculty of Economics and Business University of Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) held a Public Lecture in collaboration with the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and BRI Syari'ah with the headline "BPKH Goes to Campus". The event was held in the 8th Floor Auditorium of the FEB UGM Learning Center Building. The event entitled MINA (Mari Tunaikan Haji Selagi Muda) presented various famous speakers including Ustaz Erick Yusuf (Coach at SMP Kreatif iHAQi Boarding School Bandung) , Mr. Wijayanto (Head of Funding and Digital Banking Division at BRIsyariah ), and Mr. Iskandar Zulkarnain (Member of the Implementing Body at BPKH).

Tuesday (15/10) the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) together with The Indonesian Association of Islamic Economist (IAEI) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) collaborated to hold the Sharia Economic and Financial Research Forum (FREKS) 2019. The event, which was held at the Sukadji Ranuwihardjo Auditorium, Master in Management FEB UGM was motivated by the development Islamic financial industry which is increasingly complex in the future, and needs to continue to make breakthroughs that can encourage the growth of Islamic finance more quickly, stable, efficient, and competitive.
