National Economic Issues Debating Competition or DIEN is a national event which is held annually by UKMF of Research Kristal, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University (UNY).

A team of undergraduate students from the Accounting Department of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) won the first place in the MAKSI Accounting Competition (MACC) 2018 which was held on September 28, 2018.

J-PAL Southeast Asia in collaboration with Research and Training in Economic and Business (P2EB) Faculty of Economics and Business UGM will conduct a Training titled “Evaluating Social Programs.”

The training was designed for program managers and decision makers in government and non-government institutions to introduce:

1. Change Theory and program design
2. Assumptions needed in designing an impact evaluation
3. Random evaluation and how it reduces the bias in measuring impact
